Psychotherapy is a kind of conversation that can help you live more in tune with yourself and others. Psyhotherapy offers you a chance to get you know yourself in an open and compassionate way.
My role is to encourage and support you through dialogue and other methods aimed at increasing your awareness and understanding your unique experience. Instead of providing you with solutions, psychoterapy enables you to achieve personal changes that are best suited to you.
Psychotherapy sessions typically last for 55 minutes once a week.
In the first few sessions we will get to know each other: I will come to know more about you and your situation, and you will have a chance to experience my way of working. If we agree that we will be able to work together successfully, we will define your therapy goals and the timeframe of therapy.
Throughout most of the therapeutic process, we will work on achieving your therapy goals, and we will evaluate how well we are doing every so often. When you feel that you have achieved your therapy goal, or decide to terminate therapy for other reasons, we will use the final few sessions to close the therapy process.
